People who have the pain that you know you can solve are naturally skeptical. They want proof you’re telling the truth. They don’t want to be sold, but they do want to solve that thorny, painful problem.
To overcome skepticism you have to demonstrate impressive results and that happens to work best with massive transformation stories.
You need to share that confirmation of moving from A to B, from pain to power, from rags to riches, from before to after.
You need stories of customers trying your product or service and saying, “Wow! This is amazing!”
This sparks the curiosity to try the product or service and share the reaction with others.
What commercials can you remember that follow this formula?
Laundry? Diets? Medicine? They all do!
Every single advertiser relies on confirmation in the form of emotional stories that provide proof and invite trial.
Emotion sells, facts back up the decision.
